Poitou-Charentes
The second
sunniest area
in France |

The
lounge is extremely spacious with a spiral staircase leading up to a mezzanine
level. The high ceiling and tiled floor keep the room cool and airy
perfect for escaping the midday sun.
Four large sofas and an armchair provide enough seating for everyone. And
terrestrial television, a DVD player, video and music system should provide
enough entertainment. That just leaves you to argue over which of the many
DVD's, CDs or videos to put on.
At the front of the lounge is a sun room, a pleasant area for breakfast. |

The
farmhouse itself sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. 3 rooms have twin beds that convert to king size and 1 room has a double bed. A travel cot can also be supplied
if necessary.
Each bedroom has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a blanket box, as well
as a fan or wall heater depending on the time of year you visit. The ground
floor bedroom has a wood-burning fireplace. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
The
kitchen is modern and fully equipped with an electric oven (or for the more
adventurous) a wood burning stove, a hob (part gas and part electric) a microwave oven and dishwasher. There is also a large fridge/freezer, a coffee maker,
electric juicer, and toaster, an extensive range of cooking utensils and
sufficient cutlery and crockery for 12 people.
However, most of your time will probably be spent outside at the barbeque
for which there is a good selection of cooking utensils, plastic plates,
salad bowls and covers. |

The
dining room is pleasant, uncluttered and has a table to comfortably seat
10 people

There
are two bathrooms in the farmhouse. Both are newly converted and are fully
tiled with modern furnishings.
The bathroom on the ground floor has a bath while the first floor bathroom
contains a shower. |
